Eid message from Prof. Dr. Sheikh Abdus Samad, President & Kazi Masum Akhter, GS

We would like to wish Eid Mubarak to all Members of The West Bengal Muslim Association and their families.

The blessed month of Ramadan allows us to consider what our faith means to us, and why it is important to live a good and fulfilling life. It is also a time to reflect on the world in which we live, and what our contribution to it is.

As we spend Eid with our loved ones, we must also think about those less fortunate - the people of Indian minorities and people suffering from the terrible drought in East Africa, those affected by violence and oppression in the Middle East and of course victims of the unrest we've seen in Indian states including those are fighting within flood . While we celebrate Eid, we will also hold all these people in our thoughts and prayers.

Once again, Eid Mubarak.
